Automatic sample preparation system Hamilton MicroLab STAR, capable of autonomously processing up to 192 samples.

The system can open and close flip-tubes, perform temperature-controlled extractions, shake, centrifuge, purify using SPE plate technology, evaporate, and recover samples.
These features greatly increase laboratory productivity (high-throughput) without compromising analytical performance.

Furthermore, thanks to a series of automatic checks designed to prevent incorrect volume dispensing, tip blockages, solvent depletion, and dripping, it is possible to work with microvolumes (µL scale) — a feature that not only reduces environmental impact but also allows for multiple extractions from very limited sample quantities.
